In school, the textbook or the teachers told us to listen, speak, read and write in English. But now I think we miss one, think in English.

The obvious difference between native people and foreigners is that the language they use to think is different, Chinese people use Chinese to think, and American people use English people to think. Maybe you say, I think without language. But the fact, I think, is that the logical think should based on language, and imaginal thinking should based on images.

So, try to think in English should be a good idea to improve English.

Another important factor is the phase and words that used everyday. You can't think without knowing how to express the things in English, in turn, you can't speak out what you have think.

Also, I believe that listening is based on understanding. The extra translation between English and native language for foreigner make it less efficient to listen English when communicating with English people.

And write in English could be an useful way to pratice think in English, and also reading in English could be another way. As these have been praticed with email writing and techical documents reading, I think that is why it's easier for my to talk with foreigner with techincal issues, rather than everyday life.

So take it easy, make English just part of your thinking, part of your life.

终于进城了一把。据wiki记载，流民是旧金山自1980年代起时常面对的问题之一，也是个具有争议性的问题。一般相信旧金山是美国大城市里流民比例最高的城市。

马克.吐温曾经说过,The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.

早上的San Fransicso有点凉嗖嗖的，说不清那是雾还是牛毛小雨。幸好带了一件茄克。街上有些行人穿着带帽子的深色长衣，裹着头，双手缩在衣袋里，挺压抑的觉得。

从CalTrain 终点站下的火车，乞丐很多，睡在大街边。很怕那些人主动上来搭讪。

自行车穿梭了两个街道，一条属于大街的Market Street,还有旁边的一条街道，感觉有点害怕，怎么那么多人站在街头晃悠的呢，黑人占大多数...

终于到了Civic Center, 有些游人，不过提不起兴致拍照。草草拍了几张就走了。

China Town给人一种回到了国内的感觉，特亲切，路人都是那么的友善。就从如地狱来到了天堂，呵呵，夸张了。

今天的主要目的地是金门大桥，嘿嘿，前一天刚买的自行车可派上用场了。这边踩自行车的人真多，带上头盔，都挺专业的。

途中要路过一个比较著名的地方，嗯，就是Fisherman's Wharf,

还有Sea Lion呢，嘈杂地叫着

路上N多人踩着自行车从旁边而过，这边都有租自行车的店，生意可好得不得了。

踩过金山大桥后，坐的Ferry返回，海上眺望的景色还是不错的。

五点多的时候，阳光明媚，很多靓女帅哥们牵着狗，带着MP3在海滨跑步，嗯，叫做Embarcadero。

下午的心情还是不错的，San Fransicso被美国人评为最为最漂亮的城市，看来还是有很多地方值得去挖掘的。

MY BIKE:

不够专业，不够最低水准，从自行车爱好者角度而言。同事的自行车，呵，5000$。老板的？我不知道..

其实，虽然来总部一周的，可是哪里也还没去，规规矩矩地上了5天班。酒店离公司步行大概半个钟头，景色很美，人很少，基本上可以把这么一个大区域当然一个公园。难道美国的乡下都这么漂亮的？嗯，因为这里的人把San Fransicso简称为City。这里基本上都是平房，或许是处于地震带的原因吧，而且很多都是木板建筑。

每天上下班总会在路上看到这么一群鸭子，应该是野生的。路上有一些写有Duck/Xing的黄色牌子(Xing means Crossing)。还有这个，

呵呵，后面其实就是Softel Hotel, 环境挺好，不过感觉还是没有Towneplace后面的湖好看，hehe

嗯，下面一张就是从Towneplace房间后窗看到的景色。真的挺美。

旁边其实是一个小型机场，啥时候有机会在蓝天白云下飞翔呢？

其实，对Oracle总部那几栋象征性的大楼还是心怀景仰的。接下来两个月就在这里度过，有点兴奋呢。
